2017 - 100 sqm Cardiff Extension  - remit - to supply and design an underfloor heating system. The new extension, which had been set at an incorrect level caused a problem with the bifold window heights. At site survey, discussion with the builders resulted in increasing insulation levels in the extension, whilst leaving 20mm at existing house level to floor finish. Blending the two types of underfloor heating systems together using screed and aluminium overlay panel in a separate zone.  Created a seamless heated finish throughout the entire tiled area of the new extension and the existing snug area. This option saved the client hundreds of pounds on radiators, additional pipework, on going utilites costs and loss of floor space. The UFH system and wireless controls were fully commissioned and linked to existing boiler and radiator system. The project was completed on time and to the clients satisfaction.
